Document Retrieval

All scanned documents and electronic report files are stored in a customer unique document database. These databases are accessed by logging into InternetFileRoom through a specific URL given that is unique to each client and contains a hotlink to their document database stored on ImageSilo's secure web server. By entering the appropriate user name and password, our web server automatically loads the retrieval application and the document database into your web browser.

Searching

After logging into InternetFileRoom, the Available Projects screen will be displayed. Here you'll find the available projects their documents were indexed. Open the project you wish to search through by either double-clicking the project or highlighting the project and pressing the Search button. The database will return a list of documents that match the user defined search criteria.

InternetFileRoom provides powerful search capabilities including:

Searching across multiple fields
Boolean searches (and, or, not)
Wildcard searches
Date range searches
Adjacency or phrase searching
Searching within search results

Viewing

Documents that are retrieved through the database query process are displayed within a frame in the user's web browser, along with a list of all the documents that match a particular query. Users simply click on any of the index values for the document they wish to view. The document will be retrieved and displayed.

Retrieval

Putting your documents in the Internet File Room doesn't mean that they are locked away forever. If you require a printed copy, want to email or even export a document you are viewing, simply click the Print, Email, or Export link, and you've got it.
